Up to 30% of the population has nasal symptoms associated with sensitization to an environmental allergen. Patients may have seasonal symptoms while others may have symptoms all year round usually of varying severity and duration.
Control of symptoms of allergy is hinged to identifying and avoiding the causative allergen. At Humanhood clinics, a trained health professional will usually take allergy directed history to identify the potential allergen(s) and perform specific tests to confirm the allergen. They will then propose a management plan.
